Indigo adire on weightless silk, no two alike.
Adire resist patterning carried onto weightless silk, where the indigo blooms softer and less predictably than on cotton.
Because silk holds the dye in its own way, every scarf is genuinely singular. Yours will be unlike any other.
The same adire resist methods used on cotton, coaxed onto silk, which drinks the dye unevenly and rewards the patience. Hand-knotted and dipped, then rinsed until the water runs clear.
Hand wash cold and alone, or entrust it to a specialist. Dry flat in shade. Silk takes indigo differently to cotton, so expect a softer, more watercolour blue.
